Mango & Turmeric Smoothie
Not feeling your best? This smoothie is sure to put you right! Turmeric is a fantastic anti-inflammatory and is a great boost to the immune system. Combined with mango and banana, its also a tasty way to pack in all the benefits!
300ml milk (I like to use almond milk)
100g frozen mango chunks
1 frozen banana
1tsp Turmeric
1tsp ground ginger
1tsp ground cinnamon
Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Blueberry Superfood Smoothie
Low in calories and packed full of good stuff, blueberries are a superfood with a long list of benefits. They are rich in both polyphenols and Vitamin C, both of which help increase performance and promote recovery. The addition of flax seeds means that you’re also getting a good quality source of fibre, zinc and protein.
300ml milk (I like to use coconut milk)
100g blueberries
1 frozen banana
150ml yogurt (I like to use coconut yogurt)
1tbsp flax seeds
1 good handful of spinach
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
